- Press the Windows Key, type
Windows Security, and press Enter. - Click on Virus & threat protection.
- Click on Scan options, select Microsoft Defender Antivirus (offline scan), and click Scan now. Your PC will restart and scan for deeply hidden malware without needing an internet download.
- After the restart, press Windows Key + X and select Terminal (Admin) or Command Prompt (Admin).
- Type
sfc /scannowand press Enter to repair any system files corrupted by the file.
